Well, the positions changed a little, less than one week out. For the first time since tracking the consensus Redskins pick, Clemson DE Gaines Adams no longer leads. The new leading consensus pick for the Redskins at #6 is Arkansas DE Jamaal Anderson. Anderson has garnered 25% of Mocks, while Adams has 24%. It is pretty clear, Anderson's number has been increasing because of sources and stories reporting the Redskins staff really like Anderson. Personally, I think if the Redskins trade down and both Anderson and Amobi Okoye are available, wow, what a tough decision that will be. The Redskins reportedly like both players very much and would be extremely satisfied with either one.

The two players increasing the most are Okoye and LSU Safety Laron Landry. If Landry is there at 6 and the Redskins can not close a deal to move out of 6, it would be extremely difficult not to take him. He is an instant game play changer and a beast in the secondary. Imagine Landry lining up aside Sean Taylor.

Okoye has catapulted from obscurity two months ago to third place with an impresive 21% of mocks thinking the Redskins will take him. I am surprised it took these mocks this long, I really believe Okoye is the hands on favorite right now. The Redskins have had several workouts and visits from Okoye and are extremely impressed with his speed and size in the middle.
